Any advice for a picky eater?!
My mom is a super picky eater, and basically raised me and my three siblings to also be picky eaters!. I am now 23, and desperately wish I could eat all those "normal" things that were never introduced into my house!. I won't touch anything that has chunks of tomatoes, onions, peppers, and several other things!. I do eat many fruits and veggies, but those are the main things I won't eat!. My problem is that EVERY meal ordered in a restaurant usually include one or all of those things, and I sit there and spend half the time picking out the chunks!.
So my question, I guess, is how do I over come this!? And please don't tell me to "Just eat it" I've tried, and it makes me wanna vomit!. also, has anyone maybe been hypnotized for this!? I've heard people doing that for smoking, so I wonder if it will work for food!. Any serious ideas!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Hypnosis could be used to help you get over your instant dislike of some foods!. It places a suggestion in your subconscious mind, so it would probably be able to get you past your 'ick' factor!. You'd be to concentrate on flavours that you like instead of looking for ingredients that you're not familar or comfortable with!.
It's worked for me with shyness and getting into social situations!. I used to analyze it to death, now I just jump in there!. After about 2 months the hypnotic suggestion becomes second nature to you!. Good luck and I hope this works for you!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

fruits and veggies are the two things your body recognize ur doing ur body a favor by eating these foods!. tomatoes, onions, peppers are all very super good for you!.!.!.full of antioxidants,vitamin's and minerals that ur body needs to survive so are the other veggies and fruits!.!.!.how else will you get them!? naturally that is!.!.!.just think about how happy ur body is in the inside when ur eating ur fruits and veggies!.!.!.!.!.start very, very slowly then eat moreWww@FoodAQ@Com
Yes!. Take the "chance" of just trying them!!! Believe me, I feel the same way!. I dislike many foods myself, especially seafood!. I was dating a cajon women and we went to a place that had crawfish!. I took a bite, I didn't like it, but I can now say I've had a bite of crawfish!. On the other scale!. My mom hated ketchup when I was a kid so I NEVER had it, once I had it once at school I was "hooked" on it for good!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
