Soaking a pot of beans?!


Question: Soaking a pot of beans!?
i put a pot of beans in water to soak overnight!. been sick and didnt cook them they are still in the pot of water its been 4 days!. can i still safely cook them!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

The beans probably started to sprout or wanting to sprout!.!.!.

Drain the water and rinse!.!.!. YES, they are safe to cook and eat!.

Some people (health nuts) like to sprout their beans before cooking!.

Edit!.!.!. I'm assuming these beans are uncooked dry (now soaked) beans!.

The advantages of sprouting is an increase in nutritional content, especially vitamin C!.

taste one and see if they are already soft
