What are the chances of my jar of peanut butter being contaminated with Salmonella?!

Question: What are the chances of my jar of peanut butter being contaminated with Salmonella!?
Answers:
Very very very slim!.
The peanut butter that was recalled is "peanut paste!."
Peanut butter and peanut paste are pretty different!. They use peanut paste for crackers and such because it has a better consistency and stays together better, and also has more chemicals!.
Jarred peanut butter has very few chemicals!. You'll be okay :) Just stay away from foods WITH peanut butter in them!. Jars are okay!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

There is a very slim chance, but it's unlikely!.

The recent outbreak is from the Peanut Corp of America, and they DO NOT SELL COMMERCIALLY AVAILABLE PRODUCTS! (Only products for industrial use)

Thankfully this isn't the same as the Peter Pan peanut butter recall of 1993!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

They've been saying that all jars of peanut butter are considered safe, that it's just products that have peanut butter already in them, like peanut butter crackers, might have Salmonella!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Slim to none!. They are saying that the peanut paste that they use to make "lil Debbie" cookies and crackers are the only things contaminated!. The companies don't sell the paste to consumers like us!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

With all the hype around salmonella in peanut butter right now, I would toss it - buy yourself a fresh jar next time you go out!. They have pulled any possible contaminated ones off the shelves!. Better to be safe than sorry!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Pretty low!. They said that jars of peanut butter aren't contaminated!. Just the peanut butter products like PB crackers and things!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

since there was a recall that means exactly 97!.3 percent you have been contaminatied with salmonella!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Peanut butter is cheap,,,, so play it safe and THROW IT OUT, u can buy more wen it is 100% safe to do so!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

taste it and then see or look at the expiration date!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Give it to your landlord!. Hopefully it is contaminated!Www@FoodAQ@Com
