What are the chances of my jar of peanut butter being contaminated with Salmonella?!
Answers:
Very very very slim!.
The peanut butter that was recalled is "peanut paste!."
Peanut butter and peanut paste are pretty different!. They use peanut paste for crackers and such because it has a better consistency and stays together better, and also has more chemicals!.
Jarred peanut butter has very few chemicals!. You'll be okay :) Just stay away from foods WITH peanut butter in them!. Jars are okay!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

There is a very slim chance, but it's unlikely!.
The recent outbreak is from the Peanut Corp of America, and they DO NOT SELL COMMERCIALLY AVAILABLE PRODUCTS! (Only products for industrial use)
Thankfully this isn't the same as the Peter Pan peanut butter recall of 1993!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
