The reason she said you can get poisioned is because it use to be a lead poisioning concern back in the day about tin cans!. Now they line /coat the cans to prevent things like this, however leaving canned food in the fridge without covering it correctly can leave it discoloured, tasteless and or with a discoloured taste!. I haven't found much about whether it is actually harmful or not, but it is really suggested that you put food out of the can and into a bowl and cover it, or container!.

So basically right now the dip is fine, may taste a bit odd if anything!.!. but I would suggest putting it into another container if there is any left over :)!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Generally, you don't want to store food more than 4-5 days after it has been opened!. If you failed to cover it, you may have seasoned some of the other food items in the fridge, or gotten some fish-flavor in it if there was uncovered fish in the fridge!. Yes, you can eat it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

it is perfectly safe, if you did it just for one nite, i mean lets face it, it is in a CAN already!.!.!.right!? they woudnt put it in the can if it was going to be harmful!.!.!.

i would tho however once opened, put it in a different container, with a lid!.!.!.small plastic or glass one for the left overs!.!.this will just help keep it longer!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Yes, you can eat it!. It is fine!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

lol my maid, btw do you have a chef too!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Did you ask your maid why !? or what had happened to the fridge !?Www@FoodAQ@Com
