This is coming from a healthy eater who just had all 4 wisdom teeth removed this summer!. (NOT a fun experience eating afterwards)
Here is what I did manage to eat while staying relatively healthy:
-Mott's Healthy Harvest Applesauce!. It is only 50 calories and its much lower in sugar than regular applesauce!.
-Wheat Bread with a little bit of "light" butter spread or a little peanut butter!.
-Fruit smoothie!. Taken a banana, some yogurt, ice, and strawberries and blend it together in a blender!. It's delicious and healthy!.
-Oatmeal!. You can get the little packets that are flavored!. They even have reduced sugar packets, too!.
-Yogurt!. You can get some great flavors from Yoplait or Dannon yogurt!. It will give you calcium, and if you want, you can even buy the light versions to save calories and sugar!.
-Scrambeld Eggs!. You can cook up a few in a pan easily, or you can just eat the egg whites to save on cholesterol!.
-Green Tea!. Its great and has various health benefits!.
-Pudding!. I love the sugar-free kind from Jello!. They have lots of great flavor choices, and they also have calcium, too!.
-Sugar Free Jello!. This is great, too!. It is soft and easy to chew!.
-Ice Cream!. It may not be too healthy, but you can buy the light versions and that will cut down nearly half the fat and calories!. It's also great because I was depressed after surgery and I couldn't eat well, so ice cream was a great pick-me-up!.
Hope I have helped :)Www@FoodAQ@Com
