Homemade meals and counting Calories & Carbs? Need help from those counting experts. ?!
How do you figure out a serving for a homemade meal!? What about how many carbs & calories are in them!?
Example - Chicken Noodle soup!. I made almost 3 gallons of chicken noodle soup (made in bulk to freeze for later)!.
It has in it
- 5 lb whole chicken
- package of baby carrots
- bundle of celery
- 2 whole onions
- 3 handfuls of mushrooms
- 1 lb of wheat noodles
Some of this comes in a package!.!.!.while other parts don't!. Not to mention I made my own broth by boiling the chicken, then cooling to take out the fat!.!.!.!.
How do I even start to estimate whats in that!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

I would suggest that you start off with "guesstimating" your packaged ingredients, the ones with Nutrition Facts labels on it!.!.!.!.!.Hope this helps!.!.!.!.!.

Buy a counter book that has both carbs and calories and other info!.
