What looks like a sweet potato, but isn't?!

Question: What looks like a sweet potato, but isn't!?
I'm cooking at my in-law's house and they have a sweet potato I was going to use!. But when I peeled it, it was white inside, not orange!. What is it and what can I make with it!?Www@FoodAQ@Com
