Answers:
I saw a program on a TV station here in Canada and it showed how it was made, while it is a gouda type of cheese real gouda is aged, this is more a processed type, not Cheez Whiz like but most cheese to develop there flavour are aged for days, once the cheese is made and molded into the little balls it is dipped in wax and sold fresh or unaged!.

I am a former chef and have had many real and aged gouda, and they have a nuttier more pronounced flavour and they make a smoked version a spiced one and one with caraway seeds!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
