Answers:
Yes, it will be fine!. Porridge is lovely made in the microwave - I think it is better cooked that way!. Just as long as the dish you cook it in is covered - it makes one horrendous mess if you don't!Www@FoodAQ@Com

i find if you do porridge in the microwave it's best to!.!.!.

1 measure of oats
2 measures of milk

do in the microwave for half the specified time then leave for about 30 secs, give it a stir then continue the rest of the cooking time otherwise it grows too quick and goes over the top of the bowl and makes a mess of the microwave!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

This is how I cook porridge oats although I buy Tescos value ones and not Quakers!

Just put about twice the amount of milk to porridge in a bowl!.
Put in microwave (with a covering ~ unless you want your microwave splattered in oats) and cook for 1 minute 10 secs!. I have a 1000 watt microwave!.

Eat up and enjoy!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Of course it is - it's what's commonly called COOKING - as opposed to heating something up in the microwave which usually is NOT cooking !Www@FoodAQ@Com

Yes it will be ok to eat!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
