Answers:
Whole milk is 4% milk fat, which is really for kids 3-4 and under (they need this for brain development)!.
When they skim about half the cream off the top, you are left with 2% milk!. Most people prefer this due to taste!.
"Skim" or fat free (i!.e!. 0% milk) is where they skim all the cream off!. Some people don't like this, because of the taste (milk flavored water, if you ask me)!.
1% is something they make for people like me, who would like to drink fat free, but can't stomach the taste!.
My aunt is a doctor (a pathologist), and according to her, we underestimate the value of milk fat in an attempt to loose weight!. If you are going to cut down on fat in foods, to help with your weight, milk fat is not the best kind of fat to cut back on!.
All milk, from cows, is pretty much going to have the same stats, in terms of nutrition!. All 4% is the same (granted, they add vitamins A & D, because kids need that too, so I suppose all companies may not add the same amount)!. All 2% is the same!. All 1% is the same!. All fat free is the same!.
What can be different (and this is debatable - get out your thumbs now), is that man cows are fed various hormones to get them to produce more milk!. People debate whether or not this has any impact on the milk produced!. Some people are concerned about cows fed with grains that have been genetically modified!. You can buy milk from cows that have not been fed modified grains and/or not been given hormones!. One can debate how different this milk is, but in terms of calories, it is the same!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Fat free milk is the healthiest milk you can drink, and if you like (as I do) consider yourself lucky because you can drink as much as you like without worrying about heart problems due to cholesterol and fats!.
I don't know the brand you're asking about, but the only thing that would differentiate fat free milks is that some are fortified with Vitamin D, which makes them a little healthier!. also, some are organic, which probably makes them healthier, but the evidence is not clear!. And finally, it could be raw milk, which isn't any healthier, but may taste different!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
