Would you consider this a healthy diet?!
Ok this is a breakdown of my week!.
Weekly main meals:
Golden Vegetable Rice
Vegetable soup (carrot, potato, beans, onion)
Poached Cod, Mashed Potato & baked beans
Tuna Pasta (tuna mayo with salad cream, sweetcorn & pasta)
Vegetable quarter pounder x2 with baked beans
(the quarter pounders contain broccoli, cauliflower, red peppers, carrot, green beans and potato)
Corn on the cob x2 with Golden Vegetable Rice
Tuna mayo wrap with salad leaves and cucumber x4
^^^!.!.!.^^^!.!.!.^^^!.!.!.^^^!.!.!.^^^
All of the above are accompanied by fruit and yogurt!.
Breakfast meals:
Toast (with butter and sometimes marmite)
Cereal (bran flakes & dried raisins)
Porridge made with semi-skimmed milk and a teaspoon of sugar!.
Drinks:
Water (mainly drunk throughout the day)
Cranberry (drunk once a day)
Pear and Apple / Orange, Lemon & Grapefruit (also drunk once a day)
Mint tea (1-3 times a day)
My mother doesn't think it's a healthy diet that i've chosen and I am constantly nagged about it!. So i'd like outsiders opinions!.
(i'm 19 although i'm pretty much fending for myself i'm still at home because of Uni costs so she see's what I cook)
Am I getting enough of what I need for this to be considered a healthy diet!?
Because of my lifestyle i've tended only to eat breakfast + main meal and I always feel that it's plenty!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

1) Kudos for actually making a meal plan!. It shows that you're serious and not doing one of those lame crash diets!. 2) I don't see what's unhealthy about your meal plan so far!. It looks like you're focusing on nutrition and avoiding fat and processed foods, so I can't imagine what kind of adjustments your mother would want to make to it!. It sounds good to me!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
I think that is a healthy diet if you are sure that you only need two meals a day!. Try to eat more snacks throughout the day and add more antioxidants into your diet by eating more berries and tomatoes!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
I would consider it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
