I ate peanut butter on the recall list, am I going to die?!

Question: I ate peanut butter on the recall list, am I going to die!?
Okay so!.!.!.!.!.I bought some ice cream yesterday and my brother and I are currently eating it and I just discovered that the exact ice cream we are eating, the same expiration date and all, is on the recall list!.

So!.!.!.is that a guarantee our ice cream is poison!?

If does have salmonella, is it a guarantee that I will get it by eating a bowl of it!?

How early will I see the symptoms of salmonella!?

And if I don't get sick from that bowl does that mean the rest of the ice cream is okay to eat!? It's really good ice cream and I don't want to waste my $4!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
Which would you rather be concerned about, $4 or your health!? Don't throw it out, but take it back to the store with your receipt!. If you tell the employee at Customer Service that it's on the recall list, they'll give you your money back for it!. Stop eating it!.

It's not a guarantee that it's infected, but you're at a higher risk!.

"Typically, people with salmonella infection develop diarrhea, fever and abdominal cramps within 12 to 72 hours!."

"In general, salmonella symptoms begin with nausea and vomiting and progress to abdominal pains and diarrhea!. Additional signs and symptoms include fever, chills and muscle pains, and can last anywhere from several days to two weeks!."

As I said before, stop eating it now!.

I hope this helps you out! (:

Edit:

I know it's easy to blame the grocery store, but don't!. I work in Customer Service at a grocery store, and at any given time we have 65,000 items in stock!. Sixty five THOUSAND items!.

As soon as we find out that something is recalled, we pull it, but it's hard to keep up!.

Your input will help, and they'll pull the ice cream so it doesn't happen to somebody else!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

you should be able to return it!. Your not going to die most likely!. If you start vomitting, have nausea, abdominal pains and diarrhea, go see a doctor!. otherwise you'll be ok!. Systoms would begin 8-72 hours after eating the tainted food!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

u would u rather waste money or die!? keep the container and its contents and return it to the store with the list u checked it on so they can stop selling it but DONT EAT IT! take it backWww@FoodAQ@Com

Give me a break!. I do not believe a word of this!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

you should probably talk to your doctor and run some tests just to be safeWww@FoodAQ@Com

Your not going to die! If you get sick or ill feeling, go to a Dr and tell him/her what you ate!. But rest assure, if there was a recall on it, the stores would have removed it before you bought it!. So you may not be getting the right information!. If in fact you were able to buy this product after it was recalled, I would contact the store manager and raise hell!. Get some free stuff out of it!. If you get sick!? You should sue them for not taking it off the shelves!. If you bought this product before the recall, and then ate it after!? Go to the hospital immedietly and take the container with you so they can verufy and call the National Center of Disease Control and find out what other reports (if any) were reported with this product!. Don't scare yourself to death over this!. Just make the right deciscions and seek medical help if needed!. also, do not eat any more of the product!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

ook well first things first you got me confused!.

you state you ate PEANUTT BUTTER on the recall list!.!.!.yet all you are talking about is a container of ice cream tht you bought yesterday that you and your brother are currently eating!.!.!.(ICE CREAM!?)

so which is it!.!.did ya eat ice cream or peanut butter!?

if it was infact peanut butter!.!.!.and it was infact on the recall list, it should hve or would have already been removed from shelves!.!.!.not saying some stores are not slow or coudnt have missed a jar but!.!.if in fact you did eat PEANUT BUTTER and not ice cream!.!.!.from recall list!. i would bring the container, the receipt, and the recall list with you!.!.and show then that you just bought it and it is on the recall list and they did a poor job of removing the containers from the shelves!.!.

secondly, if you start feeling ill, you or your brother then get to the ER/docs straight away and tell them what happened, so they will know exactly how to treat you!.

then from there you will better know what to do!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
