How can I keep my rolling pin from sticking to my pastry crust?!

Question: How can I keep my rolling pin from sticking to my pastry crust!?
Answers:
Chill the dough before trying to roll it out!. Lightly flour the counter top and the top of the dough!. You can also buy a pastry cloth and a rolling pin cover!. These are made from thin cotton, and they will help prevent the dough from getting stuck!. Be sure to lightly flour the cloth and the cover before using them!.

If you have a smooth marble type rolling pin it works great to chill the rolling pin about 20-30 minutes before using it!. also, lightly sprinkle the dough with flour, if the chilled pin is not enough!. If your rolling pin is wood or plastic I'm not sure if chilling it will work, but definitely use flour on the dough, lifting the crust with your hands occasionally as you roll it!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

The best thing to do is to roll it in flour first!. This will keep it from sticking!. You can also dust the table or surface you're rolling on with flour to keep that from sticking too:)Www@FoodAQ@Com
