How is the "m" stamped on M&Ms candy?!

Question: How is the "m" stamped on M&Ms candy!?
How would it be printed or stamped on there without cracking the candy!? And is it ink or sugar or what!?
I know this is a slightly stupid question, but I wondered!. Thank you!!Www@FoodAQ@Com

yeah i was wondering this too!. I also don't think its a stupid question!. I don't eat much in the way of candy/lollies but i love those teeny tiny little M&M's they sell in the baking section of the supermarket!. They are so small how do they get the writing on those!? There is a little man in a little dungeon with a little pen that has a little bit of a little white ink and he writes the little Ms on the M&Ms and he has a little son in a littler dungeon with a littler pen that has a littler bit of a littler white ink and he writes the littler Ms on the M&M minis!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

It's edible ink put on there with a tiny dot matrix print head!. And it's not just m's anymore you can get them printed with your name, your photo, favorite team logo, valentine's messages!.
