Your breakfast needs some protein and fat!. Switch to low-fat plain yogurt instead for some extra protein and fat (plain yogurt has more protein than sweetened yogurt)!. You need at least some fat with your dairy because it helps you to absorb the fat-soluble vitamins A and D!. also, the plain yogurt is a good idea because it has no sugar or high fructose corn syrup in it!. You should also top your yogurt with some sliced almonds or chopped walnuts for some extra nutrition!. This will add in some healthy fats as well as some extra vitamins and minerals!. The grapes and blueberries are good, but make sure it's no more than a 1 cup serving!.
Your lunch doesn't sound very healthy to me!. A raisin scone is full of sugar and void of nutrients!. It should rather be treated as a dessert or rare breakfast treat!. You also need some vegetables and lean protein!. Here's an example of a healthy lunch: Pasta Primavera (1 cup whole-grain pasta noodles, 1/2 cup sauteed veggies, 1/2 cup tomato sauce) topped with 2 oz cubed fresh mozzarella cheese, and finish with 1 cup of fruit!.
Dinner sounds MUCH better, but still not perfectly balanced!. You might want to add a small serving of whole-grains (such as brown rice) to round off the meal!.
Snack is not so healthy!. Cinnamon rolls are full of fat and sugar and void of nutrition!. also the cinnamon roll and fruit combo is definitely gonna give you a sugar spike, because you have no protein or fat in your snack!. So how about eating something naturally sweet and healthy, such as a sweet juicy apple topped with peanut butter!? The peanut butter has just enough protein and fat to slow down the absorption of the sugars from the apple!. The blueberries and grapes are awesome, but it sounds like you are eating too much fruit for one day!. Limit your fruit intake to 3 cups a day (or 3 1-cup servings)!.
Dessert is obviously not very healthy, but it's ok if you have cake once in a while! It's also good that your eating homemade cake-- at least you know that the ingredients are wholesome and that the cake is fresh!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Sounds very low on protein!. While it is good to have fresh fruits, yours sounds a bit top heavy on them, lots of sugar even if it is fruit based!. The combination of all the fruit, the scone, the cinnamon rolls, the pancake, and the chocolate cake are a bit too much on the carbs as well!. I would add some protein, take out some carb, add in some more veggies and take out some of the fruit!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
breakfast is fine, lunch is good too, snack is not so fine tho lay off the cinnamon rolls(im not trying to be mean here) dinner i eat sometimes too, but i say u should only have 2 of the 3, and dessert just lay off if it completely!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
It's really hard to know if these are good foods with out knowing what's in them!. For what I know one of these items could be jam-packed with sodium!. Just because it's low-fat it doesn't mean it's good!. Read the labels and if you still aren't sure go to a nutritionist!. They will definitely know whether these foods are good!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
go to your local library or book store and find a low-cal, low-fat, or low-cholesterol, cook book!. those recipes don't sound very appetizing but specific cook books specialize in healthy foods!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
