I know it sounds overly simple - but seriously!.!.!. ask him!. Ask him what he likes to eat!. Ask him what he'd like you to make!. Find out if there's anything you BOTH are interested in trying!.

From there you could also both go to the grocery store and start looking around there!. Don't be afraid to try something if it sounds good to either of you!. The experimenting is half the fun of cooking and creating your new "favorite" dish!.

Heck, just keep an eye on TV and if something pops up in a show or even a commercial and it sounds interesting - ask if he'd like that or tell him to yell if he's watching TV and comes across something good!.

And if you really want just a flat-out specific suggestion - I like this chicken recipe!. Take a coupe eggs, beat them in a dish!. Dredge boneless chicken breasts in some flour then into the eggs!. Then drop them into a bowl with Panko bread crumbs!. Bake them in a 400 degree oven!.

I use that recipe all the time and it's really really good!. It's simple and you can do anything with them from there!. Sometimes I just cover them with warm spagetti sauce or sometimes I drizzle soy sauce on them and serve them with veggies!.
I'll cite the actual recpie (Though I skip the wasabi sauce in it)!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

There's a lot of good American recipes out on the internet!. It really just depends on what foods your husband likes!. There's many websites with good recipes including these ones below!.

These websites include a variety of different foods and ask what your husband would like to eat!.!.!.he'll like it if he gets to choose!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Here's a good one to try: Hamburger Steaks!.!.!.

It's like a combination of Meatloaf and Burgers

for two people - assuming you may want "seconds"

Take 2 lbs of ground beef in a large mixing bowl
add:
1 med!. onion diced
1/4 bell pepper diced
1 tea spoon of minced garlic
a "splash" (about 2 ounces) of moore's marinade
1 packet of brown gravy dry mix!.!.!.!.

thoroughly mix these ingredients in large bowl
separate into 4 large patties
and brown in a skillet just as if you were making burgers!.

In a medium boiler:
2 packages of brown gravy dry mix!.
(mine happens to be 2!.75 oz!. each, just follow the directions on the back, and always start with cold water)
mix 2 packs with 2 cups of cold water with a whisk in your boiler
place on stove and slowly bring to a boil, stirring constantly!.
once it begins to thicken, turn off and let sit a few minutes

serve with creamed (mashed) potatoes
green beans and corn

when plating, spoon gravy over the hamburger steak and potatoes
and serve

YOU MAY GET SOME EXTRA LOVE FOR THIS ONE ! ! !
GOOD LUCK !Www@FoodAQ@Com
