Differences between whole grain foods and processed foods?!

Question: Differences between whole grain foods and processed foods!?
Answers:
Whole grain means that the grain is intact- not pressed, crushed or ground up (whole oats, whole wheat, whole corn)!. It adds important bulk and fiber to your diet so food gets pushed through your digestive system and keeps your colon clean and healthy!. It is also difficult to eat many whole grains as is!. Try eating horse feed sometime!
Processed foods/grain have been either pressed, crushed, ground up or other means to break down the grain into a more palatable food (oatmeal, wheat flour, cornmeal, hominy)!. Rolled oats and "quick" oatmeal are both processed, but just enough to still add fiber and also be edible and nutritious!.
A combination of both whole and processed grains works well for the human body!. Look for breads with lots of whole gains added!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
