Do red bell peppers and yellow bell peppers have the same taste?!

Question: Do red bell peppers and yellow bell peppers have the same taste!?
We know that the green bell peppers are more bitter, but are not sure of any difference between the red and yellow!. We usually use red peppers in our chili, but would like to add some color with yellow!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
Yes, slightly!. The red has a bit more what I call rustic, maybe nutty taste!. The yellow is a bit more mellow!.!. LOL I made a rhyme!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Red, yellow and orange all taste pretty much the same!. They're not spicy, so I'm not sure why you use them in chili, unless it's for color!. But, you should be getting plenty of color from 1/4 cup (or more) of chili powder, plus paprika and cumin!. The tomatoes are also the same color as the red peppers, so they aren't really necessary in chili!.

Try using 3 colors of bell peppers though when you make sausage & peppers with pastaWww@FoodAQ@Com

Would you believe there is a little difference in taste, and there is a larger taste difference between the red and the green, I prefer the red firstly for my curries and stir fry, then the yellow!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
