Picnic foods to prepare at college?!

Question: Picnic foods to prepare at college!?
I'm planning a picnic for my boyfriend and I for this weekend, and I'm not sure what to bring!. I live on campus at college, so I don't really have the resources to cook much!. Any ideas as to what I could make that wouldn't be too expensive or difficult to prepare in a dorm room!? Thanks!Www@FoodAQ@Com

Sandwiches are a picnic staple! Plus they are very easy for you to prepare in your dorm - no cooking required! But don't think just meat & cheese slapped between slices of bread!. Start with a nice hearty whole grain bread, lavash, foccacia or even wraps!. Load them up with assorted cold cuts, gourmet cheese and vegies!.

Or, check out these picnic sandwich recipes:

You could also prepare a vegetables & dip tray, or fruit tray (perhaps chocolate dipped strawberries)!. And chocolate is always a nice touch for dessert!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Buy a nice Italian or French loaf of bread and a few cold cuts and some roasted peppers!.

Cut the bread length wise, fill it with cold cuts and roasted peppers and then cut them in halves!.

Bring some chips, olives, water and soda!. Some napkins, blanket and if it's way too sunny some sun screen!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
