Question: FDA has warned consumers not to purchase or eat Pistachio Nuts!.!?
Federal food safety officials warned Monday that consumers should stop eating all foods containing pistachio products while they figure out the source of a possible salmonella contamination!.

Setton Farms, the nation's' second largest pistachio processor is voluntarily recalling all of its' 2008 crop!.

The FDA is asking consumers to hang onto their products that they already have as the recall list is expected to grow over the next few days!.

Thank you!.!.!.!.just wanted to post this to let everyone know!. Salmonella can be very serious and I'm worried about children and elderly people who may be exposed to it!. Please let everyone know!.

All of this food contamination of late is pretty scary!. :( At the very least, it's good that it's coming to light, and we can try to figure out how it's happening!. Til then, it looks like I'll be laying off the pistachio ice cream for a while!. I heard vaguely about this on the radio this morning--thanks for the further details, I'll be sure to warn my friends and family!.
