Sweet potato baby food?!

Question: Sweet potato baby food!?
Okay so this is a weird question but when I put my sons food up I separate them into "breakfast/dessert" and "lunch/dinner" foods!.

So I was just wondering, would you consider sweet potatoes B/D food or a L/D food!?

Because I mean it's a potato!.!.!. but it's sweet!.

I've been putting it in with the L/D foods, but i was just curious what y'all would think :)

Thanksss!.

Lunch/Dinner!. Sweet potatoes are sweet but they are a vegetable!. Sometimes I roast them and eat with butter, I don't care for the brown sugar etc!. They are rich in potassium and vitamin A!.

For my kids, I used to classify it as both a vegetable and a starch for nutrition planning!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Personally I would give it to him for breakfast or dessert!. Yes I know that it is a vegetable and most people eat it for lunch or dinner but have you tasted it!? it is a lot sweeter than the pure potato if you buy it and bake it!. My sons Dr!. told me to introduce him to veggies first and fruits later so that he wouldnt have a sweet tooth!. I did so and now he is 7 and eats asparagus, artichokes!.!.!.even radishes!. Most kids or even adults wont even tough those things!. I have a newborn well she is 7 weeks and I plan on introducing her to carrots before sweet potatoes and when I do it will be for a dessert!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

i would serve it for lunch/dinner!.

Sweet potato has natural sugars but is actually more healthy than a regular potato!. As long as you don't drench it with butter and brown sugar (A grown up version of sweet potatoes)Www@FoodAQ@Com
