There are 4 basic methods of cooking:
Grilling: means placing the meat above fixed heat source (on a grill)!.
Broiling: means placing the meat under fixed heat source (the broiler)!.
Roasting: means placing the meat in a controlled temperature oven!.
Baking: means placing anything in a controlled temperature oven!.
The point of grilling or broiling is to sear juices inside meat!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

broiling is done at a higher temp it seals in the juices and imparts a slightly smokey flavor!. you can broil chicken or any meat or fish it must be thawed though preferably at room temp!. i do not recommend it for thick cuts of meat unless your keep it at least 6 inches from the heat source !.turn meat only once to avoid piercing the flesh and losing precious juices and always use tongs!.in most ovens ive seen broil is a temp all its own it comes from directly above the meat you cant get the same results in a regular oven but you can use a bbq grill or a grill panWww@FoodAQ@Com

Broiling is exposing the meat or whatever to Intense radiant heat!.!.!. as placing under a gas or electric range broiler or commercial salamander!.

Baking is just that; baking in a closed oven at a controlled temperature!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
