Question: Your Hot Dog: boiled or fried!?
and when they're the best choice for eat at home!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
depends on the type of meat !. Pork hot dogs contain alot of fat so they are better boiled!. turkey or chicken dogs are lean so they taste better fried!. i only eat hot dogs as a place to put all the toppings anywayWww@FoodAQ@Com

The bottom side of my grill pan is flat (for doing pancakes and French toast) and I use it for heating hot dogs too, just like they do in restaurants!. You could do the same in a large skillet too!. No water-logged dogs!Www@FoodAQ@Com

grilled
boiling and frying doesn't give the nice brown skin that is so nice, especially with good dogs/brats/sausages where the pop when you bite into them

if you don't have a outdoor grill, use an electric grill or grill pan!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

If it's one that is meant to be boiled I boil it, and if it's one that's meant to be BBQ'd I use a frying pan with a dash of olive oil!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
