Question: What would a 'traditional' Breakfast in Germany consist of!?
Answers:
g'day Mark o,

Thank you for your question!.

According to Wikipedia: "The typical German breakfast consists of bread rolls, butter, jam, ham, sausages, soft-boiled eggs and coffee!. Cereals have become popular, and regional variation is significant — cheeses, cold cuts, meat spreads, yogurt, granola and fruit (fresh or stewed) may appear, as well as eggs cooked to order (usually at smaller hotels or bed-and-breakfasts)!. A second breakfast is traditional in parts of Germany, notably Bavaria (there also called Brotzeit, literally "bread time")!."

Travellers in Germany should eat breakfast as you won't need a very big lunch!.

I have attached sources for your reference!.

However a traditional breakfast consists of a variety of sliced cured sausage, dry-cured ham thinly sliced, cheese, hard boiled eggs, a couple of types of rye bread with butter, jam or conserves of berry fruit (strawberry, raspberry) , fresh fruit and tea or coffee!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
