Question: Is the product 'The Miracle Thaw' still on the market and if so how well does it work!?
I remember a couple of years back when this product on the market called the Miracle Thaw came on the market which claimed to defrost meat in a matter of minutes so you do not have to defrost it the day before!. Does anyone know anything about this product!? Is it still on the market!? How well did it work!?Www@FoodAQ@Com

Answers:
I still have mine and it works really well, though you have to run it under water every once and a while for it to work!. It takes like an half hour to thaw a one pound steak!. I haven't seen it advertised or on sale anywhere recently!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

My grandma had one when I was about 12!.!.!.which would have been 1876! (More than a couple of years ago!) It was basically an aluminum pan (flat) with some ridges in it!.!.!.you could probably find an old aluminum tray at a yard sale that would do the same thing!.!.!.and save yourself $19!.99 (plus S&H)

Probably a cheap frying pan, upside down, would work just as well!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

Can be purchased here:

http://shop!.ebay!.com/items/miracle%20tha!.!.!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

What a rip off that thing was!. i think they are not allowed to sell it anymore!. Take a common pot out of your cupboard, turn it upside down and place your frozen food on that!. Same concept, works just as well and you save the 19!.95!.Www@FoodAQ@Com

I remember these and I believe they worked really well!. I guess it depends on what your expectations are but i have never used one myself!.
Not sure if they are still on the market but i bet you could find one on ebay!.Www@FoodAQ@Com
