How do I cut goat cheese?!

Question: How do I cut goat cheese?
Just bought goat cheese for the first time. I wan't sure what to do with it or how. I tried to cut it up and put small wedges on whole grain crackers but, it seemed really soft and kind of crumbled. How is it supposed to be cut, what should I use to cut it (knife, cheese cutter with the little wire, cheese cutter that looks sort of spoon like with a slit in it) or am I suppose to try to spread it? thanks

It almost always crumbles like that. Just cut it carefully. I use a butter knife.
