Bread being eaten, bag punctured, not a mouse, what is it?!

Question: Bread being eaten, bag punctured, not a mouse, what is it?
I just made a sandwhich out of bread that had been almost half eaten on two slices, almost completely identicle, I figured my mother had ripped some off to give to the dogs, she does this all the time. However I later found a new unopened bag, had the same problem, and found a hole where it had been punctured, the bread is more dried up where it has been nibbled on. There are no dried urine trails or mouse feces anywhere, it cannot be a mouse, plus the hole is really small in the bag but a mouse could probably squeeze through however, the bag almost seems like it was stretched apart. Any idea what else this could be other than a mouse? If you think it is a mouse, then please provide reasons why and evidence to back it up.

set a trap for that little rascal and you will have all the evidence you need.
Bait it with a tiny dab of peanut butter.

shouldent you be providing evidence of why it is definately not a mouse? After all if it eats like a mouse, pokes holes in bags like a mouse, and hides deceptively when you are around like a mouse. I gotta say it is probably a mouse.

Gremlins? Just hide the bread after dark Bro.
