Can you put other things in a coffee maker other than ground coffee?!


Question: Can you put other things in a coffee maker other than ground coffee?
Like, can you put in cinnamon powder to make cinnamon tea?
or the herbs and stuff that come inside tea bags?

Answers:

NO because the water drips through too fast to make tea. Tea needs to be steeped for 5 minutes to bring out the flavour. The coffee maker doesn't get hot enough to bring the water to the boil to make good tea. I put my coffee maker away when it is not in use for coffee.
