Have you ever eaten at a truck stop?!

Question: Have you ever eaten at a truck stop?
What did you order?

Answers:

In the UK they known as 'Greasy Spoons' the only thing they sell is breakfast, which is sold all day. It is known as a 'Full English' or 'The Full Monty' it comprises of 2 eggs, 2 bacon, 2 sausage, black pudding, 2 hash browns, 2 slices of fried bread, mushrooms, canned tomatoes and 10 times fried baked beans. 2 slices of doorstep toast and a pint of Yorkshire tea. The knives and forks are chained to the table and the free daily newspaper is sodden with grease from previous readers. The 'greasy spoon' manageress can fight any three men either individually or all three at once. Don't tell her she is beautiful as she will rip your throat out for taking the piss and don't appeal to her sense of humour or fair play, she has neither. Do not attempt to use words of more than 2 syllables, they are not in her vocabulary, only swear words. I must admit though, some years ago some trollop in a 'greasy spoon' tried different food, 'deep fried warthog' was placed on the menu, I feel as though both the warthog and the patrons of the establishment would have benefited had she killed the warthog first.

Yes. I always order Biscuits with sausage gravy and shredded hash browns that are smothered and covered. My boyfriend and I go there a few times through out the summer as one of our motorcycle trips. They have the best home made food ever! And it's just a small truck stop located out in the country.

I used to go out every Saturday night after work for truck stop food at 1 a.m. I always got either a fully loaded omelette, or the southwestern taco omelette. With crispy hashbrowns with melted cheese, toast, and the bottomless pot of coffee. Ah, good memories.

Yes. Breakfast. Scrambled eggs, french toast, bacon, coffee. The food was good. I can't imagine any truck stop serving poor food, no one, no truckers, would stop there because they all communicate with each other on the road.

of couse, I am a trucker, food usually sucks. Try the Flying J's buffets. they are usually better than most.
