What part of the fridge do you store meat and what is coldest top or bottom?!

Meat should be at the bottom so that any blood doesn't fall onto any other food. You should separate cooked and raw food in a fridge and keep them on separate shelves or in separate compartments and never put meat and fruit or vegetables in the same part of the fridge. The bottom seems to be the coldest part of my fridge but it is the top half of a fridge freezer so I don't know whether that is always the case.
As warm air rises it may be that the bottom is coldest, but that may depend on the fridge.
You can store meat wherever you like, just don't store uncovered and uncooked meat above any food that it can drip blood/juices onto.
Store 'Meat' underneath 'Dairy' .. and store 'Raw meat' under 'Cooked meat'.
The coldest part of a fridge is the bottom .. (unless you have a fan) .. so, although 'the drawer' is always put there, 'Salad stuff' shouldn't be at the bottom of a fridge .. the 'Meat' should.
The bottom shelf of the fridge is the coldest part. I try to store meat as close to the bottom of the fridge as possible, but I keep beer, soda and wine on the bottom shelf, so meat goes on the first shelf above the bottom shelf.

My mum used to be a professional chef and she said to put all meat at the bottom of the fridge and the coldest part of the fridge depends on the type of fridge you have but it is usually the bottom.
