brand of mashed potato mix?!

Question: Brand of mashed potato mix?
Last summer (2010) Costco was selling a brand instant of mashed potato mix that was really really good. They no longer carry that brand for whatever reason but I'm trying to remember the name so I can try and find it somewhere else. I remember the bags were green and beige or gold. And possibly the name was Mrs C_____(not Marie Callendar). I know this is a shot in the dark but if you happen to known of this brand I'd love to know where I can purchase it.

Answers:

Idahoan is the best I've used. Hungry Jack is good. To improve the flavor use a little evap. milk with homo. Do not use 2% or skim. A little sour cream goes good, too!

I don’t know, maybe Betty Crocker?

If you don’t find what you’re looking for, you may want to try Idahoan REAL Premium Mashed Potatoes.
If you want even better flavor than the package instructions, use milk or cream instead of water to make the amount of liquid required for the mix. Heat it, add about 2/3 of the liquid to your mix, then whip it – ‘whip it good’ :-)
Add the rest of the liquid as needed. You may want to add extra butter on top, or mix in scallions, chives, or garlic.

Another convenient option for potatoes is to make an extra large batch with real potatoes and freeze them in meal sized portions for future dinners.

There are so many brands it would be just guess work and we don't know where you are.

You could try all the ones available you can buy, or do the easy thing and peel and mash your own adjusting the amount of butter and milk to get a texture you like.

How about real potato's it only takes 4 hours to make mashed potato's?
