Frozen chicken breasts stuck together, and I only want one of them?!

Question: Frozen chicken breasts stuck together, and I only want one of them?
I bought a case of boneless, skinless chicken breasts today, and only need one of them for supper but the entire pack is stuck/frozen together. How can I get them separated without cooking them all?

Thanks!

Answers:

I buy the same thing and I always have that problem, try to get a knife with some hot water in between them and pry them apart (Careful not to cut yourself!)

if it's to hard grab a different pair of them, they might be less stuck

Good luck!

Cook both and save the other for the next day in a tupperware

If you don't want to do that, you could just defrost them till they come apart and immediately freeze the other. It should still be good.

Separate them like hamburgers. Stand them on their side, put the blade of a big heavy knife between the 2 breasts, and hit the back of the knife with the heel of your hand.

Run them under water just long enough for them to pull apart, then refreeze the one you are not eating.

Bang them against the counter.

run a knife under hot water and use that.
