You use them for cooking; I don't recommend eating them plain, as they are very acidic.

You'll want to add it to your cooking, try frying them in a little butter or roasting them with some meat in a pan

I doubt you want to eat that raw.. they are safe to eat how they are but you probably wont like it

so cook them with something then
