While Zweigles pop-opens are great, it is definitely a local thing. Most towns have their old-time sausage makers that locals crave and can't find when they move somewhere else. So asking someone who's not from Western New York about Zweigles is likely to get you the type of response you got. And it's why you don't see Zweigles (or Sahlens) anywhere but Western NY. Everybody's got their own.

Glad to see you're bringing them to FLA. I've heard of places in the Carolinas where there are a lot of transplanted Rochesterians and Buffalonians and you can get local grub there.
