Does distilling alcohol remove all flavor? Does it matter what the original grain or sugar source was?

No distilling does not remove all flavor, when you distill you rarely pull out 200 proof there is always some of the wash in the final product. Yes the original grain matters, you can taste the difference.

some sugar reacts quicker.
