Unrefrigerated foods for a trip?!

Question: Unrefrigerated foods for a trip?
I am being sent off for work for 1 month and will have to stay in a hotel that only has a mini fridge. I refuse to eat out each meal because it simply costs too much money. I will have breakfast provided by the hotel, but i'm left with lunch and dinner to supply for myself.

My question is, figuring i don't even have a mini fridge (they hardly hold anything), what are some healthy snacks/meals that don't require refrigeration that i can purchase before my trip?

I would definitely check for, or at least ask for, meal reimbursement for any overnight travel required for a job. That's pretty much standard, especially for long-term. It may not be much, but at the very least they should give you $20 a day for meals or let you expense your lunch and dinner.

canned goods ifthe minifrig has freezer put hamburger in lb.pkgs. get hb helper canned soup ,chili tuna as if theres no way to cook take yor own microwave !! pack a big cooler keep most anything just dont buy more than u can eat every few days

Does the JOB reimburse or give you a meal allowance, they usually do when they send you out of town for long periods...check into this ASAP.

pro chef, been there, done that 6 times in one year.

you can purchase mushroom powders, sweets and other hygenic things.

Trail mix is great. Dried fruit as well. They have protein and vitamins that cookies and crackers don't.
