What is the cheapest meat?!

Question: What is the cheapest meat?
Chicken, Fish, Beef, Pork, or any others that are cheaper? List them from cheapest to the most expensive please, thanks. (:

Answers:

It totally depends on the cut, but pork is usually cheapest, then maybe chicken, then beef and fish, its hard to say. Goat is pretty cheap if you can find it, which is usually already cooked.

I reckon in this order from least 2 most expensive
Chicken
Fish
Pork
Beef
Chicken is primarily the cheapest coz quite often water is added to bulk it up, and its the easiest animal to rear, and takes up less room etc. Fish second as theres usually no big costs for feeding them, and with less quality products like frozen fish fingers, the fish is just descibed as ' white fish'. In these cases they can pretty much get any white fish bits, mash it all 2getha an put into fish sticks. ewww. Gets more pricey the nicer fish. Pork again can have and often does have added water, but fresh pork in nice cuts isnt that cheap round the uk supermakets. Lastly beef, the best and most costly. The cost of rearing them must have something to do with it, and again nice cuts are expensive. Out of my price range mostly anyway.

There are more expensive meats, like venison and other game what you dont normally find on the kitchen table. Duck, really lovely but very pricey. Not sure if your counting these kinds but they are more pricey for sure if your buying and not killing it yourself.
