Is meat still good after it's exp date if it's been frozen?!

Question: Is meat still good after it's exp date if it's been frozen?
Okay so I have some ground beef, about a pound, that says use by November 11th, 2010 but I've kept it in the freezer since I bought it. Is it still good cause it's been frozen or am I just retarded? LOL.

Once you defrost, it will start to spoil. So you have to eat it fast.

For example:

If you had milk frozen on the 18th Nov and was 2 days from spoiling and decided to keep it in the fridge till Dec 11th it will still be fresh and would have 2 days left. As long as it's consumed that's fine.

Everything freezes a minus 0

Now give me my damn vote! >:D

It should be good for two years at least, unless you had many power shortages over long periods of time and it started to thaw. Your nose will tell you if it isn't good and also the color of the meat should be dark red instead grey or light pink. If it look reasonably good to you, cook it well, preferably deep-fried and then smell it again. If it smells good, the chance is it is still good for consumption. Give a small piece to a cat. If something is wrong with it, the cat will not eat it, guaranteed. Their sense of smell is lot better then ours and they never eat meat that's off.

yep thats the whole reason for freezing meat.so you can eat it anytime in the near future and its as fresh as it was when you froze it!

AS LONG AS IT WAS FROZEN BEFORE USE-BY-DATE IT WILL BE FINE

It will be fine as long as its not over 5 or 6 months expired
