At what temperature will canned food generally "pop?"?!

Question: At what temperature will canned food generally "pop?"?
It is said that canned food such as soups, beans, vegetables and fruit will burst open or bulge in freezing temperatures. However, I'd like to know at what temperatures. With the often times high salt amount in canned vegetables, and high sugar content in canned fruit, I don't think 32F will cause an issue. However will 5F or -10F cause an issue?
Also, what about too much heat?
It is unfortunate I start wondering this now when I could of tested this all winter. I will test this with the limited cold days left in Missouri. Do any one out in Yahoo Answers world have experience with cans freezing and knowing what temperature?

I would think even if you put the cans outside in the Antarctic, the contents might freeze but cause the cans to bulge, let alone burst.

Most canned food contains so much salt and/or sugar that by the time frozen cans WERE a problem, you would have frozen to death long before. Even putting a can of pop in the freezer still takes at least a number of hours for any bulging to occur.

Yes it is possible for a can to burst if the contents get too hot. What happens is the contents start to boil, creating steam and that creates pressure which will eventually cause the can to burst. But we're talking about putting a whole, unopened can on a burner set on high for 20 minutes.

So either way, these aren't temperatures you're likely to experience in nature.
