How do you stretch your grocery budget, while still being healthy?!
Answers:
Frozen. Store and generic brands are very inexpensive, and frozen vegetables are often healthier than fresh because they are frozen soon after harvest as opposed to "fresh" produce that has been transported halfway across the country.
In the summer try local farmer's markets or grow your own-even in an apartment you can have a container garden.
Sweet potatoes are good, onions are cheap and very nutritious and don't forget fruit-seasonal fruit is often on sale and provides lots of vitamins.
Use grocery coupons, look for sales, buy in bulk, buy fruits & veggies in season, join a food co-op, buy over ripe food that will expire soon and use it immediately ( it is in sale and they want to sell it ASAP)

Carrots and celery. They last quite a while .
Then if there is aa good deal on broccoli, sweet potatoe etc.. grab those as well.
whatever is in season in always the cheapest, as long as the weather doesnt eff up the harvest
stock up on veggies that are on sale and buy ground turkey when it is on sale and freeze it.
