Question: What's the best way to cool your mouth after eating something really spicy?
i heard water only makes it worse! i also heard and bread and milk work, but is there anything else? and does water actually make the spice worse? i love spicy food =)

any dairy product, milk, butter, yogurt, sour cream, etc. The water doesn't 'cut' the spiciness, but something in the milk product does. Also, you can just enjoy the heat! That's why we like spicy food!



milk, mints, yogurt , cucumber and watermelon.



Water is supposed to make it worse as I think the spice is oily so it just spreads it round or something. My friends say milk and yogurt work!



Drink some milk.
I think eating parsley may help as it is a good mouth freshener.



Sour cream, yoghurt, vinegar.



Biting into a slice of cucumber... works every time or Milk.
