How come I am a slave to my cookies until Ive eaten them all?!

Question: How come I am a slave to my cookies until Ive eaten them all?
I keep thinking about them and its annoying. Should I eat them or throw them away?

Answers:

That's a very common experience. It's hard to limit yourself to just a couple, so the only way to stop obsessing about them is to eat the whole box. And that's obviously a terrible thing to do to yourself--flood yourself with sugar and carbs and calories. No good! I would throw them out or give them away, because you'll really feel bad if you eat them all. Maybe you can find a cookie you like that comes in a snack pack of just two. Or maybe (gasp) give up cookies if you can't control yourself.

You could buy cookies sweetened with maltitol, like Joseph's sugar-free cookies. If you eat more than a couple, you get diarrhea. That'll cure you.

Ahh, cookies are so addicting.

My mom always used to use the term, "GRAB YOUR CONTROL BAR!"

I would pack the cookies back in the cupboard and think about what I am doing to my body. Read the nutritional value at the back of the cookie package and realize all the sugar and fats you are eating. Then reach out your hand and grab that control bar quick. (:

I would always do that when I used to have cravings for these red velvet cake covered candy bars in high school, lol.

You have an addictive personality meaning that you are weak when it comes to controlling your actions. You are giving in to your cravings. At least it is cookies instead of drugs or alcohol.

Hi, It seems you don't live up to your name :>). You could eat some and freeze some. All the best. Rab

I am a Chef and a slave to biscuits.

Invite friends over and eat them together.

Cookies are ruthless people.... Throw them away to stop thinking about them.
