Ideas to put in luchbox for school?!

Question: Ideas to put in luchbox for school?
I'm going grocery shopping later and looking for some things to put in my lunch box for school.

I'm getting tired of the regular, Hot Pockets and Turkey Sandwiches, and ready for something new.
I'm looking for something easy, tasty, and not messy.

I'm not really looking for the small stuff/snacks (fruits, crackers, cookies, etc) but rather the 'main' part of the meal.

Any ideas are appreciated.
Thanks!

Bagels, wraps, pasta, pita, soup, tuna, etc.

My 11 yr old 's answer is to cook some romane noodles put all the noodles and only a little of the liquid in a tight contaner, yup a untier bag or fix 2 bags worth. Also in luch would be a snadwich and hot chocolet ina termaus. It usualy barly warmer then room temp by lunch time but she likes it. Other times she takes a large container of left over spagetti and a bottle of water.
Left overs is usualy her choice over stuff that is sold for a lunch you find at a store.
i guess it just depends on what you like to eat at room temp being a frig is not ava and a microwave not always there either.

Sandwiches are always good, just be creative with the fillings
Sandwiches:- Club
(3 fillings between 4 slices of bread)
Deli Meat.
Mashed Egg.
Tomato.
Season each to taste.
Remove side crusts and cut into two or three fingers.

Sandwiches:- Rolls**
Butter a slice of sandwich bread an place with a corner towards you.
Place on your filling and roll up.
Fillings to consider:-
Asparagus spears with mayonnaise and some fine shred of lettuce.
Corned beef strips with tomato wedges (seedless and skinned) laid end to end and seasoned.
Corned beef strips with sweet mustard sauce.
Seafood sticks, (halved) shredded lettuce and a little tartare dressing.
Shredded cooked (or smoked) chicken with sweet chilli sauce.
Shredded Lamb with chow-chow pickles, or piccalilli.
Strips sausages and tomato sauce.

Sandwiches are always a good choice:

This is what I have-
organic peanut butter (all natural) and honey sandwich with homemade 100% whole wheat bread.

Another good sandwich is with various veggies and cheese.

Egg salad and tuna salad sandwiches spoil too fast.

What ever you do, avoid all "white" breads, pasta, and rice. Go with whole wheat.

I have never bought a cafeteria "meal" or frozen store-bought "meal".
I have been making my own lunches for years.

make a tortilla wrap or pita sandwitch. just stuff it with leftover chicken, lettuce, tomato, and whatever else you want. you could also make yourself a salad, or take some pizza/chinese food.

cookies ,candy protien bars, apple, chips, grapes, cereal

I eat a sandwich, chips, granola bar, fruit, and a drink. Small lunch, but filling.

one of my snacks I take to school for lunch is nachos lol I put nachosand put graded cheese over it then go melt it with the microwave at school. It's good :D

egg rolls
