Service Slipup 1: Not acknowledging the waiting patrons.


Steps I would take to correct this from happening: Greet the patrons immediately and, if there is an available table, seat them accordingly. If there is not an available table, greet them immediately and tell them it may be a few minutes wait.




Service Slipup 2: Not apologizing for slipup 1.




Steps I would take to correct this from happening: After the first mistake, immediately greet the patrons and apologize for not servicing them sooner. Then seat them immediately.
