Looking for the English name of a fruit called "Akidinia" in Arabic please?!

Question: Looking for the English name of a fruit called "Akidinia" in Arabic please?
Its shaped like a small pear, tastes a bit like apricot, and has about four large round pips inside.
It's sometimes called Indian Apricot, but I cannot find any reference to it
on the Internet.

Answers:

Akidinia is called here loquat. I would ask in any middle eastern market for them. Probably only have the canned ones. In Central Florida they grow wild all over the place. Check out loquat on the internet.

Have loquat trees.

Definitely Loquat - akki dini in Arabic

Try 'Loquat'.

Google have all the answers, just gotta look harder hehe
