How to keep ice-cream from melting?!


Question: How to keep ice-cream from melting?
I need to deliver a speech today and my topic is Ice-Cream.
I'm going to buy those Blue Bell mini cups in Chocolate and Vanilla but I'm worried they're going to melt!

I was going to buy them about 1 1/2 before I actually present. Will they be melted and gross in an hour 1/2? :'(

I need suggestions on how to keep them frozen! Thank you!

Get a small cooler use ice cubes or dry ice to keep your Ice Cream from melting!!!



Ice crystals that help ice cream maintain its structure begin to melt when they are exposed to temperatures above 32 degrees Fahrenheit. To prevent ice cream from melting, it is important to create a storage environment that is capable of maintaining temperatures below the freezing level. Dry ice and proper insulation will help you achieve a container cold enough to protect the integrity of your ice cream. This way, you can serve ice cream for dessert at a picnic or tailgate party without having to bring along heavy bags of ice.
1.Remove the ice cream from its original container with a spatula and transfer it to a metal container that is deep and large enough to hold the ice cream when it is loosely packed. By packing the frozen dessert loosely into the container, you create insulating pockets of cold air that will result in slower natural melting time.
2.Line the bottom of a large cooler with a towel. Put on a pair of thick leather or insulated gloves and place about one-third of the dry ice inside the cooler.
3.Gently tap the dry ice chunks with a hammer to break them into approximately 1- to 2-inch cubes.
4.Secure the lid on the metal container and lower it onto the crushed dry ice. Make sure the container is solidly seated in the dry ice.
5.Place the remaining dry ice in the cooler and break them into small cubes with the hammer. Pack the chunks of dry ice around and on top of the sealed metal container.
6.Cover the dry ice with another towel and close the lid of the cooler. Seal the lid with duct tape to prevent cold air from leaking out if your cooler does not have a secure latch.



I order from Omaha Steaks and other places where the product is frozen and it has to stay frozen for at least a day or two in transit. The way they do this is getting a thick styrofoam cooler and putting in dry ice. This should work for your ice cream situation.



You can use a box full of ice or cooling bag if possible? Good luck!



put them inside a box filled with dry ice... be careful not to contaminate the ice cream with dry ice!...



You might need to put them in the freezer before you present them!! Maybe a lil fridge or something just to keep them cool.. bc they will melt!



Put them in a freezer or Ice box.



Just get a cooler, and fill it with ice.
