What foods are safe to eat after you've thrown up?!

Question: What foods are safe to eat after you've thrown up?
Last night after dinner my stomach started hurting. It could be that I ate too much, or it could be a stomach bug (I heard there was one going around). For a few hours after I went to bed I was in a lot of pain. Then at about 2:00 AM I threw up. I drank vitamin water to get the taste out of my mouth, but I threw that up too.

When I woke up this morning I felt a lot better, but I took the day off from school just to be safe. (But it really sucks because its Valentine's Day.) Now I can drink water without a problem, but I haven't eaten anything yet. My mom left me a little cake and Twizzlers as a Valentine's Day present, but eating that probably wouldn't be a good idea right now.

What would be safe for me to eat? I feel a lot better but I just want to be safe. I don't want to throw up again :/ :/ :/

Answers:

it sound like you go to dry heaves after vomiting, gatorade chicken soup, pretzel, crackers, and soft fruits are the safest to eat after regurgitating

Its best to stick to liquids like water, chicken broth, and vitamin water since your feeling better.Don't eat the candies until u have a day with out puking. If u pass the liquids fine than u can eat some crackers, ginger snaps, and rice.

make sure you stay away from any dairy products. Eat soup and stuff like that.
