I can only speak with 100% certainty on the oil the fryer products are cooked in. The Jack I worked at had been using a trans-fat free (no more partially hydrogenated oil) 100% vegetable oil for some time. I know for fact vegetable oil use is already system-wide, with going TFF a goal.

Keep in mind that the fries share oil with other products. It is entirely possible for a meat-containing product to have been cooked in the same vat. This may violate your dietary beliefs depending on how strictly you interpret them.

The information about Natural Cut fries is out of date. Those are no longer carried. The new style fries only contain potatoes, salt, preservatives and coloring agents if memory serves. I would call the folks at Guest Relations (1-800-955-5225, M-F 8am-5pm PST) just to make sure.

Its really hard to say- I think that most gelatin now is synthetic. It would be really hard to find out unless you call head office. Below is a phone number and the site I got it from. I would say that regardless of the content of their fries, the deep fryer that they were cooked in probably contained chicken products at some point. I suggest you call for sure. A lot of fast food contains animal by-products in many menu items.
