What does cottage cheese taste like?!

Question: What does cottage cheese taste like?
What does it smell like too? It looks so nasty that I don't think I could stomach it.

>Try it, you will like it! Yeah, I agree about the looks, but after you try some, you will think differently. It's almost pure protein BTW...and very healthy. I would describe the flavor as milky with a slight amount of sour creaminess to it, but it does have its own cottage cheese flavor unique to itself. I eat the large curds, not the small curd kind and I eat the full fat type because it tastes the best. I put salt and pepper on it and eat it with smoked salmon...sometimes I take a canned peach and pour some syrup over it and eat the peach with the cottage cheese (no salt or pepper there)...sometimes, I add a freshly peeled cucumber or a freshly cleaned anaheim pepper. Sometimes I eat it as a side dish with a salami and swiss cheese sandwich. It really is good and good for you too, even though, it doesn't look that way before you try it.

Personally it smells horrible... Like I can't even describe the smelll.... It tastes like barf because when I eat it that is what always happens! Like I was at a buffet one time and there was this watergate salad and I got it because I love it and it turned out there was cottage cheese it it... It was nasty and I had to run the whole way accross the restaurant to get to the bathroom because I had to throw up!

Trust me... don't try it!
