Question: When I'm warming my fork?
I like having hot food from the microwave, however I just hate the feeling of putting a cold metal fork into it as it cools the food down so fast! So I thought it would be a good idea to put my fork into the microwave with my food so they match each others temperature. How long should I leave it in there so that both my food and my fork are of optimum temperature?

Hi Saphire, Not at all as the fork could cause the microwave to "arc" and destroy the magnitron. Warm your fork under hot water if you must. I hope this helps,all the best. Rab

Don't put your fork into the microwave.

You can either put it into the hot food after taking the food out of the microwave and let the food warm the fork or warm the fork in an electric or gas oven (conventional oven).

Trying to microwave your fork could damage the fork and the microwave oven. Just run hot water from the tap over the fork..

dont ever put it in the microwave . didnt you see final ditsination ! . you can use plastick fork
